Our Story

ALMA MEANS SOUL.

A Liberian beauty house founded by entrepreneur Charmilla Taylor with a clear purpose: to elevate the beauty standard in Liberia.

A woman applying ALMA lipstick in soft, warm light

ALMA began with a woman standing at a mirror, looking for something that felt like her and finding shelves of things that did not.

Founded by Charmilla Taylor, ALMA was built from an entrepreneur’s belief that Liberian beauty deserves products, presentation and experiences created with care. Her vision is not simply to add more beauty products, but to raise the standard with a thoughtful collection that helps women feel confident and fully themselves.

Everything begins with the lips — gloss, liner and lipstick engineered as one system, in tones tested across many complexions before a single one is signed off. From there, glow, and the objects that carry the ritual: the fans, the pouches, the blush-pink boxes that people photograph before they open.

ALMA is still becoming. That is the point. The house grows the way the women who wear it grow — slowly, intentionally, and entirely on their own terms.

What we hold to

  • 01

    Intention

Nothing enters the collection to fill a gap. Every piece earns its place or it does not exist.

  • 02

    Restraint

Fewer products, considered longer. Luxury is what is left after everything unnecessary is removed.

  • 03

    Belonging

ALMA is a house, not a shelf. The women who wear it recognise each other.
